What Is It Prescribed For?

How Is It Given?
It is available in tablet form and is taken by mouth once a day. It should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after having a meal. Take this drug at the same time every day as directed by the doctor.
What Are Common Side Effects?
You may face some of these side effects:
- •Diarrhea
- •Nausea and vomiting
- •Skin rash, dry and itchy skin, mouth sores, nail infections, acne
- •Mild-moderate increase in liver enzymes
- •Decreased appetite
- •Decrease in Potassium, WBC count
