What Is It Prescribed For?
- •Breast cancer
- •Kidney cancer

- •Kidney tumours in patients with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC; is an uncommon genetic disorder that causes the growth of tumours in many organs)
- •Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (a type of brain tumour) that is associated with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex
- •Prevents transplant rejection in patients who have received kidney transplantation
How Is It Given?
It is available in tablet form and is taken by mouth, once or twice daily. It should be taken at around the same time with or without food.
